Hello, I’m Sarah.
I’m a journalist, presenter, producer and the 2017 PPA Digital Content Champion of the Year.
I’m currently on a little freelance break but I’ve previously worked as a writer, Communities Editor and Multimedia Editor at RadioTimes.com, where I took care of video storytelling, dabbled in podcast production, presented a LOT of videos, and waxed lyrical about the things I loved (and loathed) on television.
Radio enthusiasts can catch me talking telly on BBC Hereford and Worcester, or doing the occasional guest spot on BBC Wales and Radio 5 Live.
Before moving to London, I worked with the team at SpunOut.ie in Dublin, writing, presenting and doing voiceover work for the youth information hub’s campaigns.
I’ve also worked at DailyEdge.ie, advised the nation about what to watch on a daily basis as entertainment.ie‘s TV Editor, spent a fair bit of time talking about what was on the box (and a variety of other things) on Irish radio and even did a bit of writing for The Sunday Times Ireland.
Before I wrote about television I spent some time learning how to make it too, working with the team at TV3′s Ireland AM as a researcher. I also worked as a runner and production assistant on TV3’s Take Me Out Ireland and Celebrity Mastermind, and did some TV presenting workshops at The Park Studio in Dublin.
Oh, and I’m a keen book blogger too.
