When I think of Ben Affleck I think of Reindeer Games. That’s not because I loved, or in fact even saw that movie but because of that quote from Role Models: “You white, then you Ben Affleck“.  Argo isn’t Affleck’s first foray behind the camera. He and Matt Damon wrote Good Will Hunting while Ben served as both screenwriter and Director for the 2007 sleeper hit Gone Baby Gone. So to get back to the point, Argo isn’t his first foray behind the camera but critics and cinema goers are in agreement that it is definitely his finest to date. Based on a true story, Argo tells the tale of a joint CIA-Canadian secret operation to extract six fugitive American diplomatic personnel out of revolutionary Iran.
