Do I call him Dogg or Lion? That was the first thing that came to mind when I was told I was going to have the opportunity to put questions to the artist formerly known as Snoop Lion ahead of his documentary (Reincarnated) debut on Netflix.

It goes without saying that I have been ridiculously lucky in the job department, moving from university to entertainment.ie within weeks, before being sent off to London to do my first big interviews. Since then I’ve barely flinched at the idea of asking so called ‘slebs about their lives and careers, but when it came to Mr Dogg/Lion, I wasn’t quite sure where to start.

Snoop’s in Ireland this weekend to play Oxegen, but the last time he graced our shores that Swedish House Mafia gig happened, so I doubted asking about that would go down too well… Nevertheless, I popped my questions together, sent them off for his consideration, and actually got some fairly amusing responses.
