It’s been quite the fortnight for Irish actress Yasmine Akram, who burst on to our screens as a bridesmaid in the most recent series of Sherlock.
She and I have something in common there and while I’m sad it’s not lobbing the gob on Benedict Cumberbatch, I am delighted to say it’s being ridiculously busy with new adventures.
About three months ago I made the decision to leave my job at entertainment.ie in the hopes of taking a bit of a break and trying some new things.
Over the course of the past two weeks I’ve been doing just that, attempting to show the good folks of DailyEdge.ie that I can do a somewhat decent job when you put me behind a keyboard and ask me to write about a variety of things, including TV of course.
This week I was more than happy to take my share of the Sherlock workload and find out who this new Irish woman in the super sleuth’s life was. I didn’t expect the findings to be half as interesting as they were, nor did I imagine that the piece would catch on like it did, amassing a fair few thousand views within 24 hours.
So here’s to new adventures and Sherlock’s Irish woman, who you can find out a whole lot more about just by clicking the pic below. Happy reading!
