Video game villain Wreck It Ralph wants to be a hero and sets out to fulfill his dream, but his quest brings havoc to the whole arcade where he lives. The international trailer for the film dropped this week.

The premise for the upcoming offering from the Walt Disney Animation Studios is an amusing one and the familiar characters featured throughout will definitely bring back childhood memories, especially for the SNES and Street Fighter generation.

It marks the Directorial debut for Rich Moore, an animator credited with work on the Simpsons and cult favourite Drawn Together (I could never look at Link the same way again).

Wreck It Ralph hits US cinemas on November 2nd with a UK/Ireland release scheduled for January 2013.
